What is an SBH amorphous alloy Transformer?
SBH amorphous alloy transformers are fully sealed oil-immersed transformers with cores made of amorphous alloy, which consists of base elements such as iron, nickel, cobalt, silicon, and boron. This is an isotropic soft magnetic material characterized by low magnetization power, thin thickness, low filling factor, high resistivity, and high hardness. Compared to silicon steel core transformers of the same energy efficiency class, amorphous alloy transformers reduce no-load losses by approximately half and are widely used in power (distribution) grids, commercial and residential buildings, as well as industrial and mining enterprises.
